Here is a list of the majority of beaches on Ibiza. Although all of the villas that we provide come with a swimming pool, there is nothing that quite compares to a day out at the beach. With chrystal clear waters and golden sandy shorelines, the beaches Ibiza has to offer are amongst the most beautiful in the world.Like anywhere in the world, mass tourism has had some detrimental effects to some of the prettiest beaches (something that the local government is trying to rectify). However, the majority of the beaches Ibiza has to offer remain pristine and untouched. As such, we have rated the beaches for you. Taking into account cleanliness, facilities, activities, dining and tranquility.

Coastal beaches that are unbeatable for contemplating the beauty of the landscape and enjoying a serene and restful environment, with transparent waters whose reflections produce amazing colours on the sand in the depths. Nudism is practised on this beach.
An absolutely stunning family orientated beach with a plethora of aquatic activities. Many large yachts visit this beach in the summer and it is also a very popular location for bongo drummers with as many as 50 playing at any one time. This has to be seen to be appreciated. There is also a large pertruding rock in the middle of the bay which can be reached by pedalo
Beautiful sandy beach located some 4 Km from San Antonio. Great swimming and sunbathing if you can find a spot! Regular bus visits from San Antonio and the distinct lack of a beach there mean that this beach gets quite over-crowded. None the less it is still worth a visit as if you don't like it, it is only a short distance to Cala Conta
Of all of the beaches on the East coast of Ibiza, this is one of the loveliest. The first thing you will notice at Cala Boix is the colour of the sand which is darker than anywhere else in Ibiza. The water here is also amongst the clearest and cleanest. The only downside is the number of stairs you have to descend to get to the beach. The restaurant at the top of these though does one of the best paellas around and should not be missed.
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza. Its breathtaking scenery is a must see. There are many and distinct areas where one can sunbathe and swim safely. Enjoy its magnificent waters or go hiking around the area.
The exceptional view from this beach is a must see. Visitors looking for tranquility and a natural environment will find it in this unique beach. The restaurant Es Boldado is just a short drive away and can be seen on the right hand side as you look out to sea and Es Vedra. It is the one built on stilts.
The only downside to this precious little beach is the tour coach that arrives from San Antonio. This is the epitome of the family beach and definately one for the photo album. Pine Strewn bay with the finest of white sands and chrystal clear waters. You have to spend at least one day of your Ibiza holiday here!
Cala Gracionetta
Probably Ibizas worst beach! Only go here if you are stuck and can't manage to find any other beach to go to. Even then try and give it a miss.
A typical Ibiza cove extending inland to the mouth of a dry riverbed. The atmosphere is calm and boasts good sporting and recreation facilities. Perfect for sailing, free diving and taking excursions in the beautiful surrounding area.
With charming scenery, this place is ideal for older people visiting Ibiza or those seeking a peaceful time and younger visitors looking for water sports. Situated inside a deep inlet surrounded by high hills ending in steep cliffs at the end of the cove.
A small inlet, part of a large coastal bay with shallow waters. Safe bathing and water sports make this area particularly attractive, with many beach sports and games.
This beach is made up of two inlets located in a narrow, protected cove with a beautiful marine environment. Perfect for sunbathing, free diving and safe bathing.
A beautiful cove with good transport links close to Es Canar and Cala LLlenya, the ideal location for people who want a bit of variety. The cove is flanked by two rocky outcrops, giving it a beautiful, secluded charm. The large waves here and quite strong current make this Ibiza beach quite dangerous for young children.
Frequented by nudists, this is also a rocky beach but with a little more sand than Sol Den Serra. Good for snorkelling or for a spot of lunch after a round of Golf as this is just up the road.
A small cove flanked by two low outcrops covered in Mediterranean flora. The wide range of activities and good transport links available make this a popular spot for a wide range of visitors, whether seeking peace and quiet with good facilities or safe water sports.
After you emerge through the pine trees, you find yourself in a picturesque bay adorned with fishing huts on either side, coarse sandy beach and turquoise clear waters. This is what beaches on Ibiza were all like 30 years ago.
This is probably the loveliest beach in Ibiza with its golden sands and chrystal clear waters. It is slightly spoilt by mass of hotels in this area, but the developers had the foresight to place them a distance behind the beach and not overlooking the bay like a lot of the other resorts in Ibiza.
This beach offers a wide range of services and is ideal for the elderly or people looking for tranquility, who can establish a vacation home in this place. The cove is very safe for swimming or sailing, and visitors can sunbathe on its large extension of sand.
The wide range of services provided make this natural swimming pool the ideal place for people looking for water sports and amenities in Ibiza.
This beautiful little bay is surrounded by fishermans huts giving it an almost rustic feeling. Although the beach is sandy, parts of it are quite stony which makes for interesting snorkelling. Large shoals of fish habitual to Ibiza can often be seen here. The reason for such a low rating for this stunning beach is that the only restaurant on the beach has quite possibly the rudest people in Spain working here. If you don't intend to eat here, add another 4 points!!!
This beach is the sister of Cala Xarraca (see above). It is almost identical in every aspect only that it has a smaller beach area. This beach is less frequented than its sister, making it quainter.
This is an area suited for families, as well as people looking for tranquility. There are many restaurants and nighttime activity. Visitors can sunbathe on imported sand.
Part of the Es Codolar beach. No or very little sand but an amazing restaurant with amazing views hence the mention.
A wide range of facilities and excellent security make this beach especially attractive for water sports. Good transport links to Es Canar allow easy access to this beautiful coastal zone for those without their own car. Can get very crowded in the height of the summer
It is a very interesting area for nudists (it is enclosed as a nudist beach). There are multiple, secluded areas for sunbathing and many options for watersports, or simply walk around and admire its natural beauty.
An enormous beach by ibiza standards, it is a lovely long beach but not too sandy. More suited to the snorkeller than the sunbather
One of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza, with some lovely hidden little corners and a landscape of sculptured rocks and small islets creating a variety of views. Ideal for water sports, which are amply provided for, and in an area of unparalleled beauty, a base for excursions to many local natural attractions.
This is an area of beautiful landscape, offering a wide range of services, sports and leisure activities. It's very safe for swimming and the ideal beach for beginning windsurfers.
This Ibiza beach is flanked by two small outcroppings covered with vegetation that reaches down to shore. In important torrent of the S'Argentera flows into this area, lending an air of spectacular beauty to the landscape. Beach conditions mean that a large range of leisure activities and water sports are offered here.
The great range of services makes this beach ideal for those in search of watersports and all sorts of facilities. It is possible to live on the beach.
This beautiful Ibiza beach has been somewhat spoiled by the 3 large hotels that surround the bay. Having said this, there is something here for everyone with a large selection of water sports and the water is still relatively clean. There is a large island in the middle of the bay which can provide an interesting if not lengthy swim.
The reason my family and I moved to this island was largely based upon this beach. What a difference 3 decades makes. Having said that has changed no more than any of the other locations. Spoiled by two nearby apartment blocks, but still has some of the cleanest sandy beach and clear water. The beach bars are the ideal location to wile the afternoon away and the snorkelling in the bay will keep the kids entertained
For one of the larger resorts on ibiza, Portinatx has managed to remain unspoilt and was recently redeveloped as part of a coastal clean up plan. Family beach with activities for all.
This is a coastal area of Ibiza that forms a sheltered inlet of low coasts between which is the sandy strip that gave the beach its name. The place offers a beautiful marine landscape, with a multitude of lovely hidden corners nestled amongst the rocks, submerged rock platforms and small islands. It is ideal for enjoying the scenery, for sunbathing far from the crowds, for finding interesting places for snorkelling between the rocks, or taking long leisurely strolls.
This beach is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. It is protected from the wind and its waters are not very deep. Visitors can sunbathe comfortably and explore the interesting seabed and the beach's surroundings.
This beach is in the town itself. Wind conditions and shallow waters make it very safe for bathing and for beginners at sailing, with a wide range of restaurants and entertainment. Being in one of the major resorts means it can get quite overcrowded in the height of the summer.
This Ibiza beach offers safe bathing and beautiful underwater scenery, as well as a wide range of water sports. The paella cooked by Cesar on Wednesday and Sundays cannot be beaten for value and taste.
Ses Figuertes
The beach of Ses Figueretes near Ibiza town is located in the area of the same name and is made up of a set of different coves and small beaches, which are joined by small rocky areas. This is without doubt the definitive Eivissa City beach, because it is in the part of the town nearest the city centre and can be reached by public transport, on foot or by bicycle.
One of the smaller Ibiza beaches on the East coast, does not detract from the tranquility and sereneness of this beautiful beach that can be easily reached by a stunning coastal walk from Santa Eulalia.
Otherwise known as pebble beach. This cove is noted for its Pebbley beach and its snorkelling. This one isn't for sunbathing but for having a lovely meal overlooking an almost deserted bay.
Located in the bay of the same name, Talamanca is a shallow, sheltered beach with fine natural sand. It is 900 metres long (the longest in the municipality of Eivissa) and is between 25 and 30 metres in width.
Besides being in a closed bay and having shallow waters, another of the advantages of Talamanca is that it is very close to the Ibiza city centre, which means it can be reached by public transport or bicycle.
