About

Situated about 8 Km from Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga is a predominantly British tourist trap. It has one of the larger beaches on Ibiza and is located within a huge bay. The beach itself is about 300m long and about 200m wide. The huge Cala Llonga beach area is littered with hundreds upon hundreds of sunbeds and parasols. The beach itself has 4 beach bars serving sangria and simple snacks

History

Like so many other resorts in Ibiza, Cala Llonga has a golden beach so the area transformed itself from a sleepy farming community in the 1960's to the vibrant tourist trap that it is today.

There is an arts and crafts market in the parking area of Holywood Disco. We think that this is on a Saturday.

14th and 15th August	Fiestas de Cala Llonga.
8th of September.	Fiestas de Jesús.
4th of November	Fiestas de Sant Carles de Peralta.
16th of November	Fiestas de Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera.
