Villa Ibiza - Santa Eulalia Ibiza

The Parish dates from circa the 16th Century when the fortified church (pictured above) was constructed. However it wasn't until 2 centuries later that the first houses were built and not until the 1960s that the majority of the buildings were constructed. As with all of Ibiza the main occupation up until the tourism boom in the 70s was farming and still forms an important part of town life.

Do not be surprised to see elderly Ibicenco women driving around in the latest series BMWs. As with a lot of societies, the best and most arrable land was passed onto the first son, then the second son and so on and so forth with the youngest daughter getting the least arrable primarily sandy shoreline plots. Of course with the tourism boom, the youngest daughters found that they had inherited the most profitable land.

Post Office: Situated one street up from main street towards the east end of town

Taxi Rank: Situated on the Paseo opposite Cosmi Cafe

Bus Station: Two streets above the Town Hall

Ferry Port: Situated in between the beach and the Marina along the promenade
